2015/05/105月10日 アヤがJATを卒業しました！
アヤは一足先に幸せを掴んだトモと２頭で、関東の方で長期間放浪していた子です。
Hi, I'm Aya!
I was found roaming around with Tomo in Kanto area.
(Tomo graduated JAT last year.)
保護された方の元で元の飼い主さん探しをしましたが、見つからず…はるばる大阪まで保護されてきました。
2匹ともとっても空気を読む子で、それでもって気を使う子で、すこし怖がりさんで…
なかなかご縁がなかったアヤに、この度やっと！！お声がかかりました。
先住に猫さん2匹と亀さんがいるお家で、相性チェックもありトライアルを開始。
We stayed with our guardian for some time who had found us and tried to find our owner, but nobody came along, and thus we were taken to Happy House.
We could read people's mind and were a little timid.
It took me a long time to find a forever home, but finally this family, who has two cats and a turtle, decided to take me home for trial to see if I could adapt.
アヤはお姉さんのことが大好きで、先輩達とも良い距離を保っていました。
I love my sister, and am getting along with the other animals.
一番興味を持っていたのは亀さん。

みんなまったり暮らす毎日、アヤも馴染みやすかったのでしょうか。
1ヶ月のトライアル期間を待たずして、正式に家族に迎えたいと仰ってくださいました。
お手続き当日、玄関を入るとカーペットの上でウトウトしているアヤが。
Everybody in the family is easygoing, and I find it very comfortable to live here.
They decided to take me officially within one month.
This is me, dropping off when a shelter staff came to do some paper work for my adoption:
スタッフに気づくと少し尾を振ってくれ、それでもまだ眠そう…
"Oh hi, I remember you...excuse me, I'm taking a nap."
幸せそうに眠気と戦っているアヤを見て言い表せない穏やかさを感じました。
It's so relaxing to sleep here. My happy moment.
お姉さんからいろんなお話を聞きましたが、お家に来てからほとんど「吠える」、ということをしないようで、
一度だけ吠えたことがあったのは、初めてお姉さんがお仕事から帰ってきたその時に、かなーり小さく…「…ワフ」と。
I have never given a bark since I came here except one time, when my sister came home from work, I said wuff in a very small voice.
それ以外はずーっと声を聞いたことがない、と。
言いたいことは特にないんですけどーといつも上手に甘えてくるそうです。
Well, I have nothing to say, I just feel happy to be near her.
正式なお手続きの日を待って、お姉さんがアヤに新しい首輪を付け替えてくれます。

とにかく新しい生活をアヤらしく満喫していることが伝わってきました。

それにしても先ほどからちょいちょい登場しているこの、先輩猫さん。

スタッフに驚いて押入れに避難中のもう一人の先輩猫さんとは対照的に、この子は何事にも動ぜず。
The other hid in a closet (below), but this one (above) is always calm.
スタッフの動きを眠気眼で一応監視してくれています。
すごい貫禄、風格、そして大きさ（笑）１０kgあるそうです。
骨格も相応に大きい…
迎えるワンコを選ぶ時の基準の一つに、この先輩猫さんを怖がらないぐらいの大きい子、というのが、そういえばありましたっけ（笑）
アヤとは良い距離だそうです。
この先輩猫さん、実は、昔お姉さんがお散歩中、公園でふと砂場を見ると瓶が埋もれていて…
嫌な予感を胸に近づいてみると…中にまだ小さな小さな先輩猫さんが詰められていたそうです。
ミルクから育ててもらい、今ではそんじょそこらの犬には負けませんで、という強さを身にまといました。
The calm one was watching the staff, trying to stay awake.
It's stout, and weigh over 10 kg.
My new owner wanted a big dog that wouldn't be afraid of the cat.
I think I'm doing okay with them.
According to my owner, she found it abandoned in a small bottle at a park, and she raised it by hand.
Now look at it, it has such a presence.
話を戻し、アヤは名前変わらず、「アヤ」のまんまで。
By the way, my name remains the same, Aya.
穏やかで素敵な生活を、これからもエンジョイしなきゃね！
