2015/01/101月10日 みぞれがJATを卒業しました！
みぞれは小さな仔猫の頃、お母さんとはぐれたのか、捨てられたのか、無人の野菜売り場にぽつんと居た所を保護されてきた真っ黒な仔猫です。
Hi, I'm Mizore. I was found alone at an unmanned roadside stall and taken to Happy House. I don't remember how I ended up there...
愛嬌のある仕草で、まわりの猫たちがたくさんいる中からびっきりの素敵オーラを出していたところを、
以前きり丸という黒猫を迎えてくださったご家族に見つけてもらいました。
まだ仔猫でしたので、去勢手術が受けられる月齢になるまで、一時預かりという形でお家に行くことになりました。
I know I shouldn't praise myself too much, but I was outstandingly adorable among the others and caught the eyes of my soon-to-be adoptive family, who had adopted a black cat called Kirimaru before.
I was still a kitten at the time and hadn't be neutered yet, so it was arranged that I'd stay with them before official adoption, go back to Happy House for neutering procedure, and come back as their official pet:D
きり丸との相性ももちろん心配なところ。
ゲージ隔離などお話し、お家に連れ帰っていただきました。
They were worried if I and Kirimaru would get along, and decided to keep me in a cage for a while so that Kirimaru could get to know me.
それこそ出会った瞬間はきり丸兄さんも「誰やねん！」と数回シャーシャー怒っていたようですが、
初日の夜…
なんときなり、みぞれが入っているゲージの横で、添い寝を始めたようです。
いつもはお父さんのベッドの足元が定位置だったのに…
そして次の日には、なんと一緒に遊んでいたようです。
すごい、きり丸兄さんにとってはみぞれの仲間入りはとても嬉しいことだったのかもしれません。
「弟ができた！」そんな感じでしょうか。
飼い主さんも、とっても仲が良い兄弟のことを笑いながら愛おしさを語って下さり、
うゎ～幸せな二匹だ、と思いました。
きり丸もみぞれも、とっても穏やかで、優しく、素直で、いい兄、弟の関係が結べたようです。
Kirimaru hissed at me at first, saying "Who are you?!", but on that very first night, he slept next to the cage as if to keep me company.
It was surprising because he'd always slept on Dad's bed.
On the next day, he accepted me and started playing with me!
Needless to say, the family was delighted to see us bond with each other like real brothers.
I'm so happy that we are compatible and he sees me as a little cute brother.
そしてこの度去勢手術を受け、お送りした日。

正式な譲渡手続きをとりながら、お家に帰ってホッとしているみぞれを見ると…
あれ傷口を舐める舐める…応急でエリザベスカラーを作成。
While the people were doing the paper work for my official adoption, I was busy licking the wound after the surgery.
Worried that I might open up the wound, they made a conehead for me...
そうしたら、「あれ？僕の弟、、、おかしい、、」と挙動不審なみぞれを真ん丸な目で警戒するきり丸。
Being alert about my conehead, Kirimaru kept wide-open eyes on me, as if to say "Wait...Is that my...little brother...?"
飼い主さん共々、その姿が可笑しくて笑ってまいました。
People were laughing at us, both bewildered...
最初こそ挙動不審でしたが、さすがは仔猫、順応性が高く、帰る頃にはいびつな（スタッフがその場で作ったため…）エリザベスカラーをも少し、
受け入れてくれたようです。
I didn't know what to do with the conehead at first, but I'm such an adaptive cat, and got used to it soon.
これでうまく行かなければ本物のエリザベスカラーを用意してくださるようお願いしてお家を後にしました。
If I break it, they'll make a new one:)
こちらのお宅には以前とっても素敵な黒ラブの子がいたようで、お写真と表彰状（臭気探査の）が飾ってありました。
お父さんは「うちに来ることになる子は素敵な子ばかりだ」と仰ってくださっていたようで、
きっとどの子も、その子にピッタリのご家族の元に行く運命にあるのです。
それが早いか遅いかはありますが、ハッピーハウスにいる６００頭は、
そんな出会いを今も待ち続けています。お家に来るべき子、きっと居ますので、迷われている方も是非、施設に足を運んでみてください。
みぞれみたいな可愛い子、守ってあげたくなる子に出会うことができるかも？！
みぞれは、名前が「福丸」くんになりました！
３匹目も考えてくださっているかも？！！
My family had a black lab before, and they still have its photo and certificate of some sort on a wall.
Dad says that the animals that come to them are really special, and I'm proud to be one of them.
There are still over 600 animals at Happy House, waiting to meet their future family.
If you are interested or have hesitation, please just visit the shelter, you might find your best match.
I assure you that there are adorable cats and dogs like me.
I've been renamed Fukumaru.
They might consider getting one more cat...?!
