2014/12/2312月23日 ルーナがJATを卒業しました！
ルーナは３匹兄弟で保護されてきたうちの１匹。
小さい頃、１匹が早々と素敵なご縁をゲットし、ステーラと２匹して、一時預かりさんのお宅で暮らすことになりました。
Hello, I'm Luna, one of the three siblings who came in to Happy House as little kittens.
One of us found her forever home pretty soon, and the rest of us, me and Stella, were taken to a foster home.
帰ってきた２匹、特にルーナは、３００匹の猫の中でも１位２位を争うほどの「甘え上手」さんになってくれていました。
When I came back to Happy House, I became one of the most people-friendly ones among the other 300 cats.
多頭の中では、どうしても甘えられる子が一番お客様の印象に残ります。
ルーナは猫部屋に来られるお客様の肩に乗ったり目をトロンとさせて甘えたり、ふみふみしたり…
とにかく積極性にあふれていました。
遠慮せず甘えさせてもらった預かりさん宅で成長したからでしょうね、有難うございます。
People-friendly animals are the first to find their forever home:)
Whenever a visitor came to our cat room, I jumped on his/her shoulders, snuggled with them, kneaded them...and that's how I attracted people;)
I owe my friendliness to my foster family, thank you!
そんなルーナに惚れ込んでくださったのは、ボランティアで猫のお世話をしに来てくださっていたお父さんでした。
こちらのお家にはたくさんの動物がいます。
犬も猫も鳥も。
And one of the visitors who fell in love with my adorable character was this volunteer staff, my soon-to-be Dad:D
He and his family have a lot of animals including dogs, cats, and birds.
ご家族それぞれが動物のことをとても思ってくださっており、皆でお世話をされている、そんなお家です。
早速ルーナとの相性をチェックするために、１ヶ月のトライアルを開始。
They all love animals, and I was taken to his home for one-month trial to see if I could socialize with the others.
でもそこは経験豊富なご家族、上手に合わせてくださり数日後には問題なく仲間入りをさせてもらえたようです。
They were good at introducing a new face to the others, and I had no difficulty in adapting.
１ヶ月後のお手続きの時に、いかにルーナが幸せか、たくさんお聞かせいただきました。
After the trial, a shelter staff came to do some paper work for my official adoption.
実はあれだけ甘え上手だったルーナ。
お家で安心してからは、積極性がなくなったようです（笑）
To her surprise, I had turned into a not-so-friendly cat...maybe because I didn't need to please people any more.
いつでも家族が側にいる、という安心感を得られたのでしょうね。
Well, I'm still cute and sweet to my family;)
同世代の先住猫さんとも走り回ったり、夜はいつもお父さんのお部屋で就寝させてもらっていたり、今ルーナは幸せにあふれる毎日を送っているようです。
I play with my cat friends, sleep in Dad's room at night, and I'm very, very happy now!
名前もルーナのまま、かかりつけの獣医さんにルナちゃん、と呼ばれ、
必死で「ルーナです、伸ばすんです！！」って訂正してくれたお父さん、
ルーナにゾッコンです^^
My name, Luna, is pronounced as Luuna (prolonged sound), and when a vet called me Luna without emphasizing the "u" sound, my Dad corrected the vet as if it mattered a LOT.
That shows how much he loves me, don't you think?
