Hi, I'm Lucy! I'm a little timid and it takes me some time to open up.

 

 

 

今回お声かけくださったのは、内弁慶な先住ワンコの相棒を探しておられたお姉さんです。

何度か会いに来られる中でも、ルーシーの壁は簡単には取っ払えず…

 

こういうときは、脱走だけには気をつけていただいて、お家でずっと一緒に居たほうが効果的！

 

すぐにトライアルを開始しました。

 

 

案の定、すぐにお姉さんにもなじみ、環境にも慣れ、何より、先住ワンコと転げまわって遊ぶほどに！

 

相性もぴったりだったようです。

 

 

My new owner was looking for a dog who could be a good friend with her existing dog, who is a lion at home...

She had come to see me before making a final decision, but I had been too afraid to break the barrier, so the shelter staff decided to give me a trial period.

 

As expected, I soon became used to my new owner, new environment, and my dog friend!

We already love each other:D 

 

 

今回お手続きに帰ってきてくださった際には、次々と挨拶に来るスタッフへの態度とお姉さんへの態度がハッピーハウスに居るときと正反対になっていて、とても嬉しく思いました。

 

 

For my official adoption, we visited Happy House the other day!

It was interesting because I used to relax around the staff and nervous around my (soon-to-be) owner, but the situation was now opposite!

 

 

 

守ってくれる、安心できる人ができたおかげで自分をやっと出せるようになり、顔が晴れやかだったルーシーが印象的でした。

 

めっちゃビビリだったのに、先住ワンコを一生懸命見ていて、そのまねをするうちに、

お散歩中にあった人に匂いを嗅ぎにいってみたり、

家族の中で暮らすうちにどんどん幸せの枠を広げていってくれているようです。

 

 

I'm so happy that I could finally open up to someone I can trust and feel safe with.

I now imitate everything my dog friend does, like saying "Hi" to and sniffing people we meet while on a walk:)

I didn't know this level of happiness existed!

ワンコが先住にいるというのはとても素敵なことで、

人から教わることよりも何倍も分かりやすく、本当に必要な事を知ることになるのだと思います。

It's really nice to have dog friends to live with, because it's much easier to learn from my own kind rather than from humans.

 

 

お姉さんが靴をはくとき、一緒に抱っこ。

普段はここまで近寄ったら喧嘩になることもあるそうですが、今日は2匹とも緊張のせいで

とても大人しく抱かれていました（笑）

 

 

ルーシーは名前もそのまま。

 

今回お姉さんが名前入りの首輪をそれぞれオーダーメイドで作ってくださったのですが、、、サイズがあわず残念。

 

 

We usually like to keep some distance between each other, however, we were both nervous this time and allowed her to hold us both while she was putting her shoes on.

 

My name remains the same.

 

And I have a new custom-made collar with my name on it, however, the size does not fit unfortunately, so she attached it to my leash:D

 

 

 

でもせっかくなのでリードに付けてもらっていました。

もうすっかりお姉さんにべったりの子になっていて、スタッフが入れ替わり挨拶にきても、やめて～さわらないで～あっでもちょっと知っている匂い。。。という感じでかなりそっけない態度。

お家が、家族といるのが、幸せなんだね。

 

 

The staff came to say "Hi" one after another, but I was on guard, clinging to my owner...

Sorry, I have my own family and home! I don't mean to remain here.
