2014/10/2810月28日 八兵衛がJATを卒業しました！
八兵衛はまだ生まれて何日も経たないうちに、何故か道路の真ん中に落とされていたところを保護された男の子です。
少し大きくなれた頃、運命の出会いを果たし、今のご家族に迎えられました。

After a few months, I met this family like destiny, who decided to adopt me.
あれから３ヶ月、本日、やっと正式にご家族の仲間入りをしました。
お家にお伺いすると、まず見えたのが先住猫達の残した影。
Three months after our first meeting, my adoption day has come!
They have other cats, but I only saw their shadows upon arrival...
あっそこに何か居た！！ってぐらいの、２匹の大きな背中。
その残像の中に、ずんずん近づいてくる八兵衛がいました。
Oh, wait!! Did I see two cats?! I'm sure I did...let me check...
全く、物怖じせず。

何なら全身でアピールしてきます。

必殺、瞬間の寝落ち技。 I uhhh...I think I will take a nap for a while...
めちゃめちゃ好奇心旺盛な、自由奔放に育てられた八兵衛が、そこにいました。
運動量が半端でないのか、体重は平均よりかなりあるのに、スタイル抜群で、まるで跳ぶように走る八兵衛でした。
先住猫さんのうち１匹は、男の子なのに母性本能の塊のようで、ハチベエは今でもその子のおっぱいを吸っているそうです(笑) ちなみにもう一人の先住猫さんも同じく、だそうで…そんな子っているんですね～。
八兵衛が、いかに楽しく面白く、そして可愛いか、ご家族がたくさん語ってくださる中で、
ある日甥っ子さんが大きなバッタを捕まえてきて虫かごに移そうとして失敗した時のこと。
八兵衛はその俊敏な身体でソフトに口でキャッチ(でーっかいバッタを(;￣ー￣A))、
甥っ子さんが「ここー！」と開けていた虫かごの中にポトッとイン。
すごーーい！
２度目はなかったようですが。。
とても楽しい毎日を送ってくれているようですね。

Well, here I am. I'm all yours.
I run and play a lot, and I'm very proud of myself being in a very good shape.
One of my fellow cats has a nurturing instinct and always tries to breast-feed me, which is very nice even though he can't produce any milk.
I have a lot of fun and am enjoying myself here, like playing a catch-and-release game!
The other day, their nephew came, and he was trying to put a locust he caught in a cage, but it escaped.
I caught it with my mouth very softly and put it in the cage for him, receiving a lot of applause from the family.
It happened only once, but it was fun.
八兵衛は抱っこも、大好き。お手続き中もお母さんに「抱っこ～」とせがんでいました。
甘えん坊で末っ子みたいだけど、小さな子供と、遊ぶときも決して爪を出さない優しい子なんだそうです。
I love being cuddled. The photo above is me being in the arms of my Mom.
I'm a bit spoiled, I admit, but I never scratch people even when playing with kids.
ただテンションの高いときは二本足で歩き出すほど、無我夢中になったり…まだまだ子猫です。
Only when I'm excited, I start walking on my hind legs.
体型以外は(笑) I look like an adult, but I'm still a little boy.
桃みたいなお腹。。書類踏んでるし。
名前も八兵衛のまんま。
My tummy looks like a peach.
Oh, sorry, am I on the adoption agreement paper?
お兄さんが連れてきてくれましたが、オロオロしている先住猫さん。
それをボーっと見る八兵衛門（笑）

帰る頃には先住猫さんたちも出てきてくれましたが、写真に写るのは嫌だということで、
Well, they are too shy to pose for a photo with me, so I posed by myself in front of the commendation awarded to their late cat, who lived for 18 years! Wow!
先代の18歳まで生きた猫ちゃんの表彰状と共に記念撮影、
八兵衛まるで置物化してます。
I look like a beautiful figurine, don't you think?
めっちゃ幸せやね。八兵衛。ほんと良かったね。やんちゃし過ぎないでね（汗）
