I was abandoned in a planter as a three-week kitten, and rescued by the shelter.

 

 

 

そんなに体は強くなかったけど、

持ち前の懐っこさで、

薫ちゃんハウスではいつもお客さんを率先してお持て成ししていました。

 

 

I am a bit weak, but people-friendly and played a cute host in the cat room whenever a visitor came.

 

 

 

それが功を奏し、この度、お声かけいただくことができました!!

 

 

My cuteness attracted my new owner's attention! Well done, me!

 

　「やったね！」

 

 

送迎中はか細い声で、それはもう、どこに連れて行かれるんだと不安で不安で仕方なさそうな様子でしたが、

お家につくと、意外にすぐに落ち着いたのか、お家の探検が始まりました。

 

 

On the way to my new home, I kept meowing anxiously, unknowing where I was going, but once I got here, I couldn't resist exploring the place.

 

 

 

 

各お部屋を隅々まで調べ、

高層階のマンションのため、外に出ないような工夫もされていました。

 

 

 

トイレは別のお部屋なのですが、

気の済むまで探検したハツは自分でたどり着き、「トイレね」と確認していました（笑）。

 

 

They are careful not to let me out accidentally.

 

"Oh, here's my litter."

 

 

 

 

 

爪とぎも2箇所準備してくださっていましたが、

最初は壁で研ぎ出し、

「あーーー！」と言ったら次から爪とぎでちゃんと。

 

 

"Can I stratch the wall? Oh, sorry, I didn't know I have a scratcher. Won't do it again."

 

 

しかもちゃんと2箇所とも活用。

 

ハツ、とっても賢い！？

 

 

"Wow, I have another scratcher! Now I have two!!"

 

 

「はい？　私、あったりまえでしょ、ルールは分かっているつもりよ（って言ってる？）」

 

 

お腹空いているでしょ、と飼い主さんがご飯も出してくれましたが、

お愛想程度に数粒食べただけで、あとはリラックスして甘え始めました。

 

 

"Now I know where to scratch. I'm a smart girl.

Oh, is it my meal? Uhhh...not hungry right now, but let me taste them a little..."

 

 

 

 

すごい順応性です。

 

 

I can adapt to new environment easily.

 

 

まだ2歳にもならないハツ、ほんと、今がお転婆時だと思います。

 

いたずらも想定外のことが起こるやも？

 

猫と暮らすと、とても楽しい毎日がそこに、ただ、その分真剣に怒りたくなることもしばしばあると思います（笑）

 

猫って、性格にもよりますが、基本的に、自分がいかに幸せに生きるか、を常に考える生き物で（だと思っています^^;）、人間にとっては人生のお手本のような存在だと思います。

ハツは今日、自分がこのお家の子供になったんだ！と良くわかっていたような気がします。

 

 

I'm yet to be two, and have lots of energies.

Don't be surprised if I'm a little mischievous;)

You know, cats can make your life happier (and messier at times...)

Of course we have different personalities, but cats in general try to live each moment to be happy, and can be a role model to humans in that respect.

 

Now I have a strong feeling that I belong here.

 

 

 

とっても幸せそうで、これからご夫婦の愛情を一身に受けていくことができるんだなと思うと、スタッフもとっても幸せでした。

 

 

Thank you for adopting me, I'm so happy and will make you happy, too!

I've been renamed to Mai, which comes from their address.
