2014/12/2312月23日 シロタがJATを卒業しました！
シロタは2011年3月11日の東日本大震災で被災したワンコ(シロ)です。
避難先ではシロとの生活は出来なく、自宅においておかなければなりません。
毎日毎日、避難先から自宅への往復・・・いつまでこの生活が続くのか・・・。
シロの新しい飼い主さんを捜して欲しいとご家族さんよりご希望があり、
ハッピーハウスでの新しい家族さん捜しが2011年8月25日から始まりました。
走るのが大好きなシロタ。ご飯より、走る走る!!
Hi, I'm Shirota, I used to live in the tsunami-hit area, and since my previous owners couldn't take me to the evacuation center, they decided to give me up for adoption....
I love running! If I had to give up running or food, I'd give up food.
走る走る!! Just watch me running!!
とっても可愛く良い仔で、人が大好き!!
ご飯の最中、スタッフが顔を出すと、ご飯はそっちのけ。
募金活動犬としても立派に働いてくれていたシロタ。
なかなか新しいご家族さんを見付けてあげられずにご免ね。
と、思うと同時に、この出逢いの為にハッピーハウスに居たのかも?!
I'm people friendly, and every time a staff member shows up while I'm eating, I'd run up to him or her:D
I also helped with their fund-raising campaign! I'm such a hard worker!
出発の日は晴天。冬の晴れ間。
得意げなお顔。

「僕、卒業するんだっ!!」 "I'm graduating JAT!!"
「車だって、へっちゃらだよ。」 "I don't mind driving!"
新しいご家族さんはハッピーハウスから20分も掛からない距離のお家。
先代が5月に亡くなり、またワンコとの生活がどうしてもしたいと、言う事で、
ご来所下さりました。
お母さんでもお世話ができる、それでいて白いワンコに愛着がある
お父さんの想いと重ねて、シロタになりました。
シロタに決められてから卒業日まで、10回以上もの、お散歩に来て下さいました。
オヤツあげたり、抱っこしてみたり、写真撮ったり、終始笑顔のお父さん&お母さん。
My new owners live just 20-minute drive away from Happy House!
They lost their dog in May, and were looking for a white dog my (soon-to-be) Mom could take care of, and found me a perfect match!
After deciding to take me, they came to bond with me over 10 times, taking me out on a walk, giving me treats, taking pictures...and they were always happy to see me!

シロタのもの?!
秋には沢山の栗がなるそうで、取りに来て下さいと、嬉しいお声掛け。
シロタの生活はお庭での生活。
シロタの山??とは言え、猪や鹿が出る山にひとりで行かれては困ります。
長ぁ～いリードで繋ぎます。
繋いだ先には、先代からのプレゼントのお家。

It's been decided that I basically live in the yard, and in order to prevent me from escaping and roaming around the area where there are tons of wild boars and deer, they've prepared a very loooong leash for me.
お父さんが既に、シロタの名前に変更してくれていました。
シロタは今日から"しろたん"です。
平仮名って、ところが本当、シロタらしい。
すんなり、自ら入りました。
I've renamed as Shirotan, which appears on my house:D
The house has a blanket in it, I love it!
中にふわっふわっの毛布。
「ん??何か用??これ、僕のだよ。エヘッ」
"Hi, do you like my new house?"
朝ご飯をせずに出発したので、早速もらいます。
I did not eat breakfast at the shelter, and my Mom served me a meal!
ご飯より、お散歩のシロタですが、
Well, I prefer to go out walking, but I'm so happy and excited to have my Dad and Mom watch me eat, so I finished the meal.
お父さん・お母さんが見守る中嬉しくって?!完食。
ハッピーハウスでは偏食気味だったシロタ。
これからのご飯・・・朝はドライフード、夜はお父さんが無農薬で作ったお米を
お母さんが愛情と元気を入れて炊くご飯が食べられます♪
At Happy House, I did not eat properly, but from now, I hear they'll give me dry food in the morning and nutricious homemade meal in the evening...I think I'll eat well.
ご飯の後は、しっかりオシッコ。 Peeing time♪
土だって、かけちゃいます!! Never fail to cover it up.
お散歩の二重リードの為の準備もばっちしです。
ん??よく見ると、ポーチに"シロタン"と、名前が(笑)

お散歩中に首輪が外れてしまうといけないので、チェーンカラーのご用意もしっかりありました。
Everything is ready, including a chain leash.
夏の暑い日には縁側に潜ることでしょう。
This is the place where I'm supposed to avoid heat in the summer time.
先代の仔の御下がり、蚊取線香もスタンバイ。
A mosquito repellent coil is also ready.
シロタの小屋付近は日があたりません。
ですので、午前中、日の当たる時間はこちらに繋ぎます。
No sunshine around my house, so I'll be leashed in the sun-exposed area in the morning.
毛布の用意もありました。
土もあれば、芝生もあり、コンクリートもあり、毛布もあります。
まるで夢のような世界♪
『おぉぉぉぉ～い!!しろたぁ～ん!!こっち。こっち。』
Now I have my own blanket, yard, lawn...what more can I hope?
Dad: "Hey, Shirotan! Come here!!"
お父さんが呼びますけど、シロタ・・・無視?!
Shirota: ".......Later, Dad. I have to explore the place first!"
イヤイヤそれどころじゃありません。
楽しくって嬉しくって、動ける範囲360度動いています。
Shirota: Lalala...Look at me run and run!!

「僕のお家だよ。いいでしょ♪かっこいでしょ♪」
Look, this is my HOME!!
お父さんはシロタが可愛くって可愛くって仕方がありません。
その気持ちがものすっごく伝わってきます。
I think my Dad is head over heels in love with me.
シロタが来てくれないからお父さんから駆け寄りました（笑）
He just gave up calling me, and came to pet me.
これからのシロタの仲間は鶏さんに鵜コッケイさんに鯉さん。
My birdie friends!
お父さんは毎日、色々な沢山の仔のお世話に、畑に本当に毎日大忙し。
My Dad is busy taking care of all the animals and the field.
鶏さん達も自由でのびのびしていました。Roaming chicken!
鶏さんの紹介の為にちょっと席を外しただけなのに、このシロタの喜びよう。
Shirotan: "Daaad! Where have you been?! Checking out the chicken? Well, I missed you!!"
お父さんのお顔は見れませんが、シロタの倍以上の笑顔なのでしょうね♪
朝からシロタの送りにお邪魔したのに、もうお昼になりそうな時間に
なってしまっている事に気付いたスタッフ（汗）
肝心の書類手続きです。
Doing paperwork for my adoption:
お庭には素敵な椅子や机があったので、そこで・・・。
お庭での書類手続きはなかなかないです。
お天道様が祝福してくれているようでした。
「僕のことぉ??」机に潜ってみたり・・・
The sun was shining, everybody was smiling, and I have everything I wanted.
「ねぇねぇ。僕のことぉ??」机に乗ってみたり・・・
"Is this for my adoption? Do you need my signature?"
はい!! "Can I jump on the table?"
抱っこでおろされます。 "No...? Sorry..."
スタッフはとっても楽しくって嬉しくってずっとこの空間に居ていたいという
想いを押さえて、家族撮影をお願いしました。

シロのご家族さんにシロタが卒業する事をお伝えすると、
本当に喜んでおられました。

The shelter staff told my previous owner that I had found my forever home, they were very happy to hear the news.
→1週間後に診察に来られました。
1日のお散歩は4回?!以上・・・。
『庭仕事が手につかないよぉ～』と言うお父さんの嘆き顔は笑顔でした。
スタッフよりお父さんお母さんにべったりになっていたしろたん。
本当に本当に嬉しいです。
来年のお正月は家族団らん♪良かったね、しろたん。
