2015/01/111月11日 ゼットがJATを卒業しました！
東日本大震災の時、被災地から保護されて来たゼット。
被災地からは沢山のわんことにゃんこが保護され、その後無事に飼い主さんが判明する子も沢山
いましたが、ゼットは飼い主さんと再会することが出来ませんでした。
震災から1年経ち、飼い主さんが判明しなかった子達は新しい家族を探すことになりました。
ゼットは当時推定年齢8歳、性格はとても明るいけれどガサツで、食への執着が強く、
よく吠える、、、ビーグルらしいビーグルでした。（ちょっと目つきが悪いけど、、、笑）
Hi, I'm Mr. Z, came from the earthquake-stricken area.
There were many that were rescued from Tohoku, brought to Happy House, and found their owners later on, but I was one of those who couldn't find the owner.
One year after the quake, the shelter started to look for a new owner for us.
I was presumably 8 years old at the time, not that young, and although I'm cheerful in nature, I can be rough, tend to fixate on food, and bark a lot...such a typical beagle (with sharp eyes...)
人にも犬にも割と友好的でいい子でしたが、なかなか縁遠く、月日ばかりが経ってしまいました。
毎年行われている「にゃんだ祭り」でのステージでドッグダンスを披露することになった私は、
ゼットの並々ならぬ食への執着に目をつけ、ちょっとお年はいっていましたが元気なゼットじいちゃんに
頑張ってもらおうと、ゼットをペアの相手に決めました！！
練習開始、ゼットはオスワリとオテしか知らないことが判明（笑）
年を取ると物覚えが悪くなるため、これは時間がかかりそうだと心配していましたが、
さすがゼット！「食」が絡むとものすごい集中力で、おじいちゃんとは思えない身のこなしと
記憶力で練習をスタートして約半年、なんとか2014年のにゃんだ祭りで発表することが出来ました☆
It's not that I'm unfriendly with humans and dogs, but somehow time went by withoug me meeting someone special.
My turning point came on our annual festival, Nyanda-matsuri.
In preparation for the festival, my trainer had decided to let me perform my "dog-dance" on stage.
I must tell you, you're never too old to learn.
Well, the trainer had a hard time training me since all I could do was "sit" and "shake hands", but I was full of energies for my age, and being lured by the treats she gave me, I mastered the dance after six months!
100％の完成度ではなかった為、見苦しい場面も多々ありましたが、ゼットじいちゃん頑張りました！！
It was not 100% perfect, I missed a little, but see how smart I look in the pictures!
私はもちろん楽しかったのですが、ゼットも楽しんでくれていたと思います♬
ゼットの調子が優れない日はお散歩だけ行っていた時もありましたが、
しんどいはずなのに散歩中に急にダンスのトリックをやって見せてきたり、、、
関われば関わるほどゼットが可愛くてしかたありませんでした。
発表が終わると、ゼットはお年の為ドッグダンス引退。
関われる時間が少なくなり、犬ハウスから聞こえるゼットの声に胸が締め付けられる日が続き、
「早くゼットにも新しい家族ができてほしい！！」と願っていました。
We both had a lot of fun training!
During the training period, we really bonded with each other, and I could feel the deep love of my trainer towards me.
After the festival, however, I had to give up the dancing because of my age, and we had less "intimate time" together...and I could tell that she was wishing me for a new family.
I proved that I could be trained, and it was about time that I found my forever home.
すると、念願かなって（？）ゼットにお声がかかりました！！！
何年も前にハッピーハウスからわんこを迎え入れて下さったご家族がもう一度
わんことの生活をしたいとゼットを気にいって下さいました☆
少し不安な面もあって、1か月のトライアルを経ての手続きとなりました！！
One day, her dream (and of course my dream, too) came true!
This family, who had adopted a dog from Happy House many years ago, came to the shelter, looking for a new dog!
After one month of trial period, they decided to adopt me officially!!
基本的な生活スペースは玄関のサークルです。
何でも食べてしまうくらい食べる事が大好きなゼットは室内自由にすると
危険がいっぱいなので、サークル内のほうが安心です。
1か月ぶりに会うゼットは、やっぱりガサツ（笑）
喜んでくれているのは嬉しいのですが、動きすぎてブレブレ、、、、
Because I eat everything in my sight, it's been arranged that I basically spend my time in the cage.
I was too delighted to see the trainer, who came to do the paper work for my adoption.
お母さんが「マテ！」と言って動きを止めてくれました。、、、3秒ほど（笑）
トライアル中心配心配していた吠えもなく、ただ、玄関からお兄さんが仕事へ出かけると
寂しくて鳴いてしまうから裏口から出かけているそうです（＾口＾；）
ゼットは隠れさびしん坊なんです♬♬
Mam tried to stop me, saying "wait", and I waited for three seconds while the staff took a picture of me:)
They had been concered about my barking at first, and I do whimper when seeing off my brother, but other than that, I've been pretty good actually (and my brother has been using the back door to go to work so that I wouldn't notice he's gone...)
嬉しいと毛布をカミカミしてしまうのを止めるためおもちゃをもらいました☆
ハッピーハウスではおもちゃよりもおやつ！！だったのですが、おもちゃも好きだったようです。
手続き中嬉しそうにずーっとずーっとカミカミしていました♪
I chew my blanket when I'm happy, so they gave a little toy instead:)
The staff knew I loved treats, but didn't know I also loved toys.
Look at me, chewing the toy while they were doing the paper work.
ご近所さんからも可愛がってもらえているそうで、わんこ友達もできたんだとか！！
じっとすることが大の苦手で、マテがなかなかできなかったのですが、
お母さんがおやつを持って「マテ」と言うと、ちゃーんと「よし」と言われるまで待てていました！！！
お散歩は1日に4回も行ってくださっているようで、リードを見せるとお利口にオスワリして
待っているそうです☆
My neighbors also love me, and I've also made dog friends!
I had difficulty waiting at the shelter, but now Mam has trained me to "wait" until she says "OK".
They walk me four times a day, and when they show me the leash, I sit and wait...very smart, don't you think?
近くに広い公園があり、お兄さんと行くときは一緒に走り回っているそうで、
推定11歳のゼットですが、まだまだ元気いっぱいです！！
We have a big park in the neighborhood, and I run a lot!
Pretty energetic for 11-year-old dog;)
ハッピーハウスへ来た頃から少し白くなってしまったけれど、
長い事ハッピーハウスで暮らしていたけれど、きっとゼットはこの出会いを待っていたのだと思いました。
震災が起こり、家族と離れ離れになってしまい、知らない土地に連れてこられてどんなに不安だったでしょう。
きっとどこかで見守ってくれているゼットの元飼い主さん、安心してください、ゼットは幸せを掴みましたよ☆彡
I've grown gray hair since the time of rescue, and I spent a long time at the shelter, but I'm sure I was waiting to meet this family.
I admit I felt lost after the quake, being separated from my original family and brought to the unknown place, but I know they are watching over me somewhere. I just want to tell them, "I'm fine now, found my new family!"
ゼットの第2の犬生はこれからです！！愛情いっぱいもらって、好きなものを食べて、
沢山お散歩して、暖かい毛布で寝て、元気いっぱい過ごして行ってね！！
My new life has just started, I'm having a lot of affection, exercises, and food:)
